Resident of the Month

Maxine W.
July, 2017

Maxine has been awarded this honor, but has sadly just passed away in the interim at the age of 91. This narrative and honor is being given posthumously. She will be greatly missed. Maxine was a resident of Williamsville, but was raised in Zanesville, Ohio, and resided in various Ohio cities over her lifetime. She did manage to keep her roots with her home town as she remained a member of her church in Zanesville since 1936. While married to her late husband, Frank, of 51 years, they had one son, Mark, who was a regular visitor to his mother while she was at Brompton Heights. Maxine absolutely loved her two adult grandsons, John and Jake, who have many great memories of their grandmother since they were infants.Maxine always loved reading the daily newspaper and seeing what was going on in the world. She thoroughly enjoyed being around all the nurses, aides, and staff at Brompton Heights, as well as helping with the fundraising sales in the lobby. Even though she was never one that wanted any special attention, her son assures us that she is most likely smiling upon us and very appreciative of this award.
