The Hamister Family has owned and operated Brompton Heights assisted living, memory care and independent living residence for more than 25 years.

The grandmother of Hamister Group Chairman and CEO Mark Hamister, Evelyn, lived here until she passed away at the age of 86. Also a Brompton Heights resident was Mark's father, George, who led the original design of Brompton Heights and was instrumental in developing resort-like settings for the company's assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. Jane Hamister, Mark's mother, worked at Brompton as a Recreation Director and continues to serve Brompton's residents as a volunteer watercolor-painting instructor today.

Mark visits his Brompton Heights family on a regular basis. He knows many staff members, residents, and their families by name.
