Welcome to our family.
We are very proud of our community feeling. Residents and co-workers share special times and life experiences--just like any family.
We enjoy the sunshine in our inner courtyard, have parties with live music, and hang out with friends in our old-fashioned Ice Cream Parlor and Coffee House.
Residents can also worship at non-denominational services in our own private chapel.

Brompton Heights Introduces a Fun New Game:
Resident Photo Bingo
Recreation Director Kerry Dekker invented a new kind of bingo that helps residents get to know each other better. Kerry created new bingo boards with the photos of Brompton's residents instead of letters and numbers. Instead of calling out B6 or J12, Kerry calls out residents' names. Our residents greatly enjoy the game, although it is more difficult than regular bingo.
Read what the critics have to say:
Dan: "Oh yeah, it was nice having all my friends together playing a nice game, and making more friends while playing."
Jeannie: "It is fun, but tough because I don't know everyone's name. I know most of the ladies, but not too many of the guys. The game definitely gives me the chance to get to know more people, which I like." |

Rita H: "I would play it again, but didn't know all the people. The best thing was seeing my picture."
Carol: "I liked it, because I know most of the residents by sight. I enjoyed helping the others. It was different and exciting."
Marie: "I liked it but I needed help. I enjoyed it, and liked the prizes. It is a great way to meet new nice people."
Betty S: "I thought it was funny. I liked it very much. I like seeing the pictures on the card of everyone. Thought this game was very exciting and interesting."
Frank: "I enjoyed it. I liked the pictures and it is really fun. It was a fun new game that Kerry invented." |
Brompton Heights
2009 Co-Worker of the Year, Andrew Michael Mazurek
Andrew Mazurek has served Brompton Heights,Inc. Assisted Living &
Memory Care Residence as a Culinary Server, Recreation Leader
and also as a Personal Care Aide since 2007. Andrews number
one job is caring for the residence which he shows everyday
when coming into the building.
Andrew is a very mature young man. He originally started in
Culinary, he expressed interest in other departments because
he enjoys being with the residents, he asked to be transferred
to Nursing as a PCA and also to Recreation as a Recreation
Leader. Andrews care for the residents is genuine. The residents
thoroughly enjoy Andrew working for them.
Andrew often comes to work on his own time to be prepared
for his recreation assignments. Andrew is also a local volunteer
fireman. He cares so much about our residents that if there
is ever a call to the building and Andrew is not working we
know he will be arriving shortly. At the Halloween party the
residents asked Andrew to dress up in his fire fighter gear,
which he did without hesitation. Andrew is reliable and available
to pick up extra shifts whenever Brompton Heights needs him.
In short, the residents like Andrew and look forward to when
he works. He is a great team player and has much respect,
trust and appreciation of the residents.
